A Walk on the Moon

My Love,
Take my hand

We shall dance among the stars tonight
Sing out into the ever expanding Universe
Take a saunter across the moon

Just you and I,
I and you

The stars performing their own light show
Tickling your eye lashes
While I caress your soft cheeks
Push aside your stunning hair
And kiss you until the sun rises up
Above the grey, dusty mountains

Kiss you until I forget my very own name
But never yours
Not you, my Love,
My only

Tonight we shall soar past the sun
Skate on Saturn’s rings
And swim through the Milky Way

Oh, you are truly beautiful tonight
And always.

You are more than my world
You are my Universe and beyond

We shall walk on the moon
And never turn back
Tonight, you are all mine.

Kill Me

Red water washes over my coarse hands.

Not too long ago
I used to imagine something different
          from this

I don't know what
It just was different
Like-
Something I used to know
I was someone I used to know

No one can see through the facade
the mask covers up too much of the truth
that floats face down with the river
taking the slow bends
riding the rising tide

A hallow hatred fills my lungs
not my heart
as I breath in a dream
and out the denial of everything that once was

Consider me broken

But I won't leave you
Like how you left me

I'll walk away slowly
looking back each half step
hoping that you'll call out for a hand
someone to pull you back from the edge

Even if you don't call,
Remember that I'm here
when it seems that I'm not

You used to love me

Our own lies have torn us apart.

I lift my head and walk away
unsure of how to feel
of how to think

God, this was so easy

Where has all of our time gone?
Is this what the rest of our lives are going to be like?

Sociology is teaching me that we wait around until the next best thing comes around
It's human nature
But you are the very best
and I don't want to wait

I just want you

Fuck it,
I want to give up everything and lay with you
everyday for every hour
to watch the sun rise and then fall
to feel your chest rise and then fall
to simply coexist

rather than watch everyday slip by like sand through my fingers

I am so tired of watching this life go by alone
but it's something that you'll never know

You've never enjoyed reading poetry,
so I doubt that you'd ever find this
but if you do,
just know that I will wait forever if I have to

I'll always be waiting,
hoping,
for you

If You Forget Me

by Pablo Neruda
I want you to know
one thing.

You know how this is:
if I look
at the crystal moon, at the red branch
of the slow autumn at my window,
if I touch
near the fire
the impalpable ash
or the wrinkled body of the log,
everything carries me to you,
as if everything that exists,
aromas, light, metals,
were little boats
that sail
toward those isles of yours that wait for me.

Well, now,
if little by little you stop loving me
I shall stop loving you little by little.

If suddenly
you forget me
do not look for me,
for I shall already have forgotten you.

If you think it long and mad,
the wind of banners
that passes through my life,
and you decide
to leave me at the shore
of the heart where I have roots,
remember
that on that day,
at that hour,
I shall lift my arms
and my roots will set off
to seek another land.

But
if each day,
each hour,
you feel that you are destined for me
with implacable sweetness,
if each day a flower
climbs up to your lips to seek me,
ah my love, ah my own,
in me all that fire is repeated,
in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten,
my love feeds on your love, beloved,
and as long as you live it will be in your arms
without leaving mine

I Carry Your Heart With Me by E.E. Cummings

i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
                                                      i fear
no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you

here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart

i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

That Which Never Dies

So... there I was doing my sociology homework, listening to pandora... when all of a sudden I heard a song that made me think about the very worst thing that I believe could happen to me.  This is the song:

and then I wrote this...
That Which Never Dies

The last rose falls from her hand onto his grave
~
It falls
For what seems
To be

Forever

She cannot pull herself away
She will not.

Not yet

She cannot pull her eyes away from the words:
Lift your eyes, do not cry.
You’ll awake one day and feel no sorrow.
Trust in me, my love, do not fret.
Even death cannot pull us apart.

The sun shining around her makes little a difference

She reads the words and yet,
she is frozen.

The fresh green grass of spring has rooted into her heels,

Her heart,
She can no longer feel.

The slight breeze that dances through the blooming pink Magnolias that line the cemetery

While her eyes close
And her lungs collapse
Tearing her down onto her knees

Lift your eyes, do not cry…
Even death cannot pull us apart.
Please, my Dearest,
Please do not cry.
Death cannot kill that which never dies

Great Poem to read and share =]

You Are Tired (I Think) by e.e. cummings
You are tired,
(I think)
Of the always puzzle of living and doing;
And so am I.
Come with me, then,
And we’ll leave it far and far away—
(Only you and I, understand!)
You have played,
(I think)
And broke the toys you were fondest of,
And are a little tired now;
Tired of things that break, and—
Just tired.
So am I.
But I come with a dream in my eyes tonight,
And I knock with a rose at the hopeless gate of your heart—
Open to me!
For I will show you places Nobody knows,
And, if you like,
The perfect places of Sleep.
Ah, come with me!
I’ll blow you that wonderful bubble, the moon,
That floats forever and a day;
I’ll sing you the jacinth song
Of the probable stars;
I will attempt the unstartled steppes of dream,
Until I find the Only Flower,
Which shall keep (I think) your little heart
While the moon comes out of the sea.
- e.e. cummings

Unity

Each  and every  day we grow older Our wrinkles grow deeper Our hair thins greys and falls out Each  and every  day We grow My heart aches ...
